Blackburn to beat Preston

Since being beaten 7-0 by Fulham, Blackburn have played very well and moved up the table into the playoffs. They’ve won three and drawn one, and come here on the back of a great 1-0 away win at Stoke. Preston have won just one of their last four as they struggle to put together any kind of form, and we think Blackburn will make things worse for them.

Blackburn are the team to kick off our Championship acca on Saturday.

Sheffield United to beat Cardiff

Sheffield United look like a team that are beginning to turn a corner, since the change of manager with Paul Heckingbottom taking charge once again. They travel to Cardiff who have played better away from home recently, but they are still struggling at home. In recent weeks, Hull and QPR have been to Cardiff and won, and we think Sheffield United will be the next team to go there and win.

We like Sheffield United and they are the second team in our acca.

Nottingham Forest to beat Peterborough

Peterborough are dropping down the table and have failed to play well for a number of weeks. They managed a point last week, but that came against Barnsley, who are playing just as bad. Peterborough haven’t scored in four games now, and haven’t really threatened either. Forest have won one and drawn five of their last six, but given the poor opposition on offer here, we are backing them to win.

Reading v Hull BTTS

Hull have turned their season around, winning four straight games to get out of the relegation zone and kick clear a little. They will head to Reading full of confidence and will be going there to win. Who wins is difficult to judge, but with Reading being involved in a five goal thriller last weekend, we are going to go with both teams to score in this one. Expect Hull to go for the win, and Reading have the ability to score themselves, so we are hoping both of them find the net here.
