- 120/1 Longshot Acca:
Blackpool to beat Swansea
The Seasiders have performed above expectations this season, although were going through a rough patch not too long ago. That seems to be behind them now, with two wins on the bounce, including beating Stoke last weekend.
Swansea were thumped in midweek by Fulham, and have recently tasted heavy away defeats at both Stoke and Sheffield United. To kick off the acca, I like Blackpool to continue their strong season and current winning streak.
Bournemouth to beat Derby
Although Derby are fighting for their lives, they are still in deep trouble, and away from home especially, they are really struggling for form. They’ve lost their last five away games, and been kept of the scoresheet in three of them.
Bournemouth have dropped points unexpectedly over the past few days, losing at Preston and drawing with Peterborough. This is a big game at both ends of the table, and we are backing Bournemouth to get their promotion push back on track by winning the game.
Sheffield United to beat Coventry
Sheffield United are in the playoffs, and when big games come around, they have been performing. A big win in midweek over Middlesbrough gave United a huge lift, and they are fancied to build on that away at Coventry.
The Sky Blues have struggled recently, failing to win any of their last three, and look a little stuck, with little to play for. The Blades have everything to play for, and are my pick for the win.
Nottingham Forest to beat Reading
The final pick of my acca is Nottingham Forest to win at home to Reading. Forest are another team with playoff aspirations, but have been drawing a little too often recently. However, this game against Reading is the perfect game for them to get back on track.
In a relegation battle, Reading have lost their last two, 4-1 to Blackpool and 1-0 to Millwall. Forest are a class above those two, and can make it three losses in a row for Reading here.
