Warm favourite to land the Yorkshire-outdoors.co.uk Adventure Activities Handicap at 7.30 Catterick Bridge, Kosika should take some beating.
The 4-year-old filly can currently be backed at best odds 7/2 with Coral where punters get the added insurance of a free bet refund equal to their losing stake should the selection finish second by a head or less.
Kosika won a 12-runner maiden over 6f in her 2-year-old season for the powerful Godolphin stable before admittedly being well held on her sole run at Meydan last year, but has since switched yards. Now trained by reputable handler Mark Johnstone, Kosika made a pleasing return to action after over a year off to finish a narrow third over today's trip at Brighton last month. She is likely to strip much fitter for that run and the mount of Joe Fanning is lightly weighted for today's contest, so improvement can be expected with another big run to get her head in front.
We'll Deal Again may have worried the selection stepping back up in trip, but is a non runner leaving top-weight Bartack as possibly the biggest danger if a first-time visor springs him back to life, while the inconsistent Piceno may also come into the reckoning if feeling in the mood.
