The Class 1 Listed Weatherbys Private Banking Leisure Stakes can go the way of Professor at 7.30 Windsor this evening.
The Richard Hannon-trained 4-year-old looks overpriced on the pick of his best form from last season and odds of 14/1 look worthy of each-way investment as Paddy Power are paying out on the first four places in the six furlong listed event as opposed to the standard three places offered by other firms.
Triple distance winner Professor landed a handicap over 7 furlongs at Ascot before completing a hat-trick of wins with triumphs in listed events over today's trip at Haydock Park and Salisbury last summer. Prior to his winning run the chestnut colt had made a satisfactory return to action when finishing fourth in a large field at Newmarket, so there are no concerns about a similar result at Leicester a little over a month ago.
Likely to come on for that run as he did so well last season, Professor can land the spoils this evening with the two tussling at the head of the market Music Master and Montiridge likely to be the biggest dangers. Rex Imperator may be another to watch out for, but the mount of Frankie Dettori may have a fitness disadvantage returning from a 268 day absence.
