Advised as 7/4 yesterday, John Oxx-trained My Titania gets the nod for Sunday's Group 2 Kilboy Estate Stakes contest at Curragh as the daughter of excelling Sea The Stars is now advised at 11/10 with Ladbrokes having missed both the English and Irish 1000 Guineas prior to her seasonal debut in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot where the chance went begging.
Last September at the same Curragh venue was the previous of two wins in four runs for the three-year-old Bay Filly, but the experience at Ascot was an eye-opener as she failed to enjoy a free run and only stopped pulling during the final two furlongs which made even fouth place in the contest show the courage of the Christopher Tsui-owned entry.
My Titania had Sandiva and Tapestry behind her that day and the outing showed the determination strong enough to place the three-year-old as the favourite with Ladbrokes at 11/10, and Declan McDonogh should expect his mount to run much more freely in Sunday's one-mile, one-furlong enounter at 3.45.
Of the six Group 2 opponents at Curragh it is in-form Ryan Moore that poses the biggest threat in the stakes aboard Mango Diva, having notched up two top-five finishes on the Sir Michael Stoute-trained Bay Filly at Epsom and York which enters as nearest rival to My Titania at 11/2 with Coral.
Tabs must be kept on Odeliz also as the four-year-old will enjoy more experience than its Curragh competitiors after four runs in 2014 all ending no lower than fifth at the finishing post, 7/1 with William Hill and Ladbrokes the best odds for the Chestnut Filly.
