Progressive filly White Vin Jan is tipped to continue her winning streak in the Shepshed Fillies' Nursery Handicap at 3.40 Leicester on Monday afternoon.
Available to back at 4/1 with a number of forms including William Hill and Skybet, Michael Bell's bay filly has thrived since being allotted a mark and looks more than capable of defying a 7lb rise today.
A trio of modest efforts was followed by a quick-fire hat-trick in August as White Vin Jan got off the mark at Lingfield before scoring with plenty in hand over today's track and trip when shouldering an additional 7lb. A further 6lb rise couldn't stop her landing the spoils once more at Hamilton last time and jockey Michael Kenneally's 7lb claim will put her firmly in the mix again today.
War Alert heads the betting for the 5f 218yds contest and is respected with a couple of notable future entries, but has to concede weight to all competitors today. Park Glen had a bit in hand when landing a double at Ffos Las a week ago and turns out under a penalty, while Some Show may be competitive off her opening mark and Feeling Easy will need to redouble efforts on the evidence of her Nursery debut.
White Vin Jan is lightly weighted, is the only course and distance winner in this small yet competitive field and looks set to continue her upward curve.
