With AP McCoy on board, Finding Your Feet is tipped to come out on top in the Hague Print Handicap Hurdle at 3.45 Warwick on Thursday afternoon.
The JP McManus-owned 6-year-old was in good form around this time last year and re-gained the winning thread with a 5 length victory over Solix at Fontwell Park in August. The 5/2 chance with Betway had been tried over a 3 mile trip at Uttoxeter which didn't go to plan, but there was no such trouble on his last start and a drop back to 2m5f today should help to negate the 8lb rise of that runaway success. Finding Your Feet acts well on Good to Soft ground and should get something near to that at Warwick today with the course being watered and it would be no surprise to see the mount of AP McCoy continue his upward curve this afternoon.
Bathwick Man looks to be the main danger to the selection after twice going close over a shorter trip before ending a lengthy barren spell over 2m6f at Newton Abbot last month. Apprentice jockey Kieron Edgar's allowance offsets the 5lb rise for that success, but AP McCoy's experience can give Finding Your Feet the edge. Elsewhere Demographic returns from a long break for Emma Lavelle and is lightly weighted on his handicap debut, but is perhaps best watched for now on the evidence of his four previous runs over hurdles.
