After a bright start to their return campaign in the Premier League, Middlesbrough have lost three of their last four games and are in a bit of a rut. They host a Spurs side who might be without Harry Kane this weekend. They’ll miss him but should manage.
Mauricio Pochettino’s have been sharing the goals around in the early weeks of the season, the time when Kane toils in front of goal. This match could present an opportunity for Vincent Janssen to impress and finally score his first competitive goal for Spurs.
He arrived on the back of a prolific season with AZ Alkmaar.
The last time Spurs went to the Riverside (in 2009), they emerged as 4-0 winners. That was also the scoreline of their last away fixture, a bashing of Stoke. We back Pochettino’s men to pick up another win ahead of a trip to Moscow in the Champions League.
