Wednesday’s Acca Betting Tips:
Newcastle to beat Burnley
We never quite know where we stand with Newcastle.
Steve Bruce’s side have got off to a predictably slow start in the Premier League, but should be roused in front of home support at St. James’.
The narrative surrounding the Magpies has been “they need to concentrate on a successful cup run!” for years, and we think they’ll get off to a positive start on Wednesday.
Burnley simply don’t keep clean sheets anymore – the home side should capitalise on this.
Shakhtar Donetsk v Monaco BTTS
Shakhtar take a 1-0 lead into this all-important second leg in Donetsk, with a prize in the Champions League group stages on offer.
Monaco are favoured here, but with the French side keeping just one clean sheet in their last 19 away Champions League matches, they might have to do it the hard way.
Don’t blink during these 90 minutes!
Salzburg-Salzburg HT/FT
A thrilling 2-1 in Austria last week sees Salzburg take a slight advantage back to Denmark, and the visitors will fancy their chances against a struggling Brondby outfit.
COVID-19 has ravaged their squad and they are winless in nine matches as they struggle to defend their Danish crown.
Salzburg are in the driving seat here and should press home that advantage.
