Saturday’s Acca Betting Tips:

Robert MacIntyre to beat Brendan Steele

MacIntyre kept his nerve at the last yesterday to hole birdie and make the cut and he looks a solid bet against Steele today.

Drying greens and the wind picking up will suit MacIntyre’s game to the ground and he’s taking on a player who has made the Open cut for just the second time and who hasn’t bettered 70 during any third round this season.

Padraig Harrington to beat Matthew Fitzpatrick

Harrington may be getting on in years but he’s plenty of experience and looks overpriced against Fitzpatrick today.

Fitzpatrick is playing in just his second-ever Open while Harrington may not be the force of old, but he was placed in this year’s PGA Championship and made the top-20 in last week’s Scottish Open.

Scottie Scheffler to beat Dustin Johnson

Scheffler is another player who looks overpriced today, taking on Dustin Johnson who was in fine form yesterday.

However, Scheffler also enjoyed a strong 2nd round and he has finished ahead of Johnson in five of their last six appearances and this one looks a close matchup – at the odds, we have to side with Scottie.
