Ashleigh Barty and Angelique Kerber to Both Win a Set
World number 1 Barty hasn’t dropped a set since the First Round and has won 13 of her last 14 matches on grass, but despite Kerber entering the autumn of her career she’s still a dangerous opponent.
Three-time grand slam winner Kerber is a slick operator on grass and has been in great form over the course of the tournament. The 33-year-old has more than enough power from the baseline to cause a few problems and has bucketloads of experience in the latter stages of slams.
Aryna Sabalenka to beat Karolina Pliskova 2-1
These two have only met twice before but on both occasions this has gone the distance, including their only meeting on grass at Eastbourne in 2018.
Pliskova has the edge in the serving department, but we think Sabalenka has a few more weapons in her armoury and will edge a close on this afternoon.
