7/1 Acca of the Day: Tuesday July 20

It’s been just over six weeks since Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta lifted the big-eared European Cup, but there’s no time to rest, as qualification for the 2021-22 edition continues this week!

We’re ready to enjoy the second qualifying round this week, as high-caliber sides such as Celtic, Dinamo Zagreb, PSV and Galatasaray enter the fray.

It’s an awkward time to play such an important fixture as managers and coaches try and breathe life into the legs of their tired players, but come kick-off, it’ll be back to business for some of Europe’s most famous names.

We’ve plucked out a tempting 7/1 Acca for three of the biggest ties on Tuesday evening:

  • Celtic v Midtjylland – Celtic win and BTTS
  • Lincoln Red Imps v CFR Cluj – CFR Cluj to win the 1st half
  • Dinamo Zagreb to beat Omonia Nicosia

And don’t forget, Virgin Bet is offering all new customers £20 in Free Bets when you join up – perfect for using on Tuesday’s Win Acca.

Tuesday’s Acca Betting Tips:

Celtic v Midtjylland – Celtic win and BTTS

Celtic’s new boss Ange Postecoglou is still fresh into the Glasgow job, but there is already huge pressure mounting on the former Australia national coach as The Hoops begin their new campaign.

Postecoglou’s side haven’t strengthened their squad as much as they would have wanted following a disappointing 2020-21 season, and will be wary of the Danish side already being up and running in the Superliga.

Fitness will be questioned in this one with a few nervy moments expected, but Celtic’s extra quality has to stand for something.

Lincoln Red Imps v CFR Cluj – CFR Cluj to win the 1st half

Despite their 5-0 win over Fola Esch – the champions of Luxembourg, before you ask – Gibraltarian side Lincoln Red Imps are big underdogs in this clash.

CFR Cluj have won the Romanian title for the last four years running, and will be confident of getting off to a fast start on the Rock this Tuesday.

A lead for the visitors in the first half looks a solid pick, priced well.

Dinamo Zagreb to beat Omonia Nicosia

Dinamo Zagreb have won the Croatian league in 15 out of the last 16 seasons, completing a domestic double on nine of those occasions.

A quarter-final appearance in last year’s Europa League underlines their credentials, with their Cypriot opposition a tier or two below in quality.

A home win, at a relative canter, looks likely.
