Boxing Acca Tips - 11/1 Bet for Saturday Night
He might not be to everyone’s taste, but it’s Jake Paul that leads the way in a return to the ring against Nate Diaz.
Check out the legs below:
Jake Paul to beat Nate Diaz by KO/TKO/Disqualification
Jake Paul is back… and he’s back to fighting non-boxers.
His closely disputed split decision loss to Tommy Fury underlined his BIG improvements in the ring, so it’s a little disappointing from an outsider that the “Problem Child” is reverting to type and fighting UFC superstar Nate Diaz.
Fair enough – Diaz is a striker in MMA, but we have seen this story play out before with Anderson Silva.
Paul is a good boxer. He has committed to the craft over the last five years and has the fundamentals nailed down to compete at a basic level.
He’s also got power in those hands too. Diaz has proven his chin in the Octagon but the boxing ring is a different thing altogether.
Diaz has fought – in the UFC – just twice since 2019 and is now 38 and shop-worn.
Paul should be able to rack up his seventh pro win and by stoppage.
Amanda Serrano to beat Heather Hardy by Decision/Technical Decision
Amanda Serrano should be getting bigger fights at this stage of her career than Heather Hardy.
This is no disrespect to the “Heat” but these two fought in 2019 with Serrano winning a lop-sided decision, and Hardy has only fought once since, losing to Jessica Camara.
Serrano is still looking for that Katie Taylor rematch – or perhaps Chantelle Cameron, now – and will more than likely use Saturday’s contest as a tune-up to get her name back in the headlines.
A repeat of the 2019 result is likely.
Shadasia Green to beat Olivia Curry by in Rounds 3-4
Shadasia Green is 12-0 and has won 11 of her fights by KO.
The 33-year-old is looking a force in the super-middleweight division and shouldn’t have any issues in navigating past the limited Olivia Curry.
Green is highly ranked across all governing bodies in the super-middleweight division and is angling for a fight with Savannah Marshall if successful on Saturday.
Green’s heavy hands should make an early breakthrough.
