Liverpool v AC Milan Bet Builder Betting Tip:
Liverpool to win
Anfield has become a Champions League groups stage fortress under Jurgen Klopp – Liverpool have lost just one of their 12 group stage games with the German in charge and have averaged 2.5 goals per game in that time also.
On the back of an excellent start to the season that has seen them win three and draw one of their four Premier League matches so far, we expect Liverpool to edge this in front of a packed Anfield.
Both teams to score
A Liverpool win should be on the cards but we can see both sides getting on the scoresheet in what should hopefully be an entertaining clash.
Milan have scored in seven of their last eight away matches and this coupled with Liverpool managing just one clean sheet in their last four home Champions League games against Italian sides, sees us siding with both teams to score.
Diogo Jota to score
Jota is ticking along nicely so far this season, scoring against Norwich and Burnley in the Premier League and also bagging for Portugal in the international break.
He helped himself to four goals in the Champions League group stages last season, including three against Italian sides, and he looks overpriced to find the net against Milan.
Simon Kjaer to be booked
Having sat out the weekend victory over Lazio, Kjaer is likely to be back in the heart of the Milan defence at Anfield and he looks set for a busy evening against Salah, Mane, and Jota.
He’s committed four fouls in each of his last two matches and it would be no shock to see him pick up a booking on Wednesday evening.
