Champions League Matchday Six Betting Tips
The final games of the Group Stage get underway in the Champions League this week and while most is already wrapped up, there’s still plenty to play for.
Eight teams have already qualified for the Round of 16, including Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham as well as Champions League favourites PSG, while Manchester United and Liverpool are practically over the line.
Here’s a look at all the groups and who still has work today in the final game.
Manchester United only need a draw to top the group when they take on CSKA Moscow on Tuesday night.
Mourinho’s men are favourites to beat the Russian side who are in a dogfight with Basel to finish second.
Basel will take on Benfica in their last fixture, with the Portuguese side rock bottom of the group.
Group B is all wrapped up with both PSG and Bayern Munich already confirmed as the top two teams.
The Bayern Munich v PSG odds this week are interesting however, as the Germans can still claim top spot, although it’d take a four goal win to do so.
Celtic and Anderlecht can still claim third spot and a draw will seal Europa League football for Brendan Rodgers’ men.
Chelsea have qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League and are neck and neck with Roma to take the top spot.
Both are priced at 5/ 6 to win Group C with most bookmakers, but the Blues face a much tougher last tie against Atletico Madrid.
The Spanish side can still qualify with a win over Chelsea and if Roma drop points against Qarabag.
Barcelona have secured their place in the knockout rounds and are at 7/1 to win the Champions League.
Second place is still up for grabs and will be fought for between Juventus and Sporting Lisbon.
The Old Lady will need to beat bottom placed Olympiacos and it’ll be a huge task for Sporting to overcome Barca at the Camp Nou.
Liverpool need just a point to qualify after missing out in their last game against Sevilla.
A victory will see them top the group, while it Sevilla drop points a draw will be enough to claim top spot.
Spartak Moscow can still qualify ahead of Klopp’s men however, if both they win at Anfield and Sevilla take maximum points at Maribor.
Manchester City have looked unstoppable in both the Premier League and Europe.
City are second favourite to win the Champions League and will be feared by most heading into the knockout stages.
Both Shakhtar Donetsk and Napoli can qualify with a win and a loss for the other being enough to seal their places.
Turkish side Besiktas have already qualified for the last 16 and will be joined by either RB Leipzig or Porto who are both on seven points.
Porto have the easier fixture, taking on bottom club Monaco, while Leipzig must better whatever Porto do against Besiktas in order to qualify.
Perhaps the most exciting group of the Champions League, Tottenham will go through as leaders, pushing Real Madrid into second.
Both Dortmund and APOEL will be battling it out for third place, the latter needing to pick up points away at Spurs.
