Whisper it along the banks of the River Thames, but Fulham are becoming the latest yo-yo club between the Premier League and Championship.
They’ve been up and down over the past five seasons now and will be looking to make it six in a row under the new reign of Marco Silva.
The Cottagers invite Middlesbrough to London for their opening match of the campaign, as Neil Warnock continues to try and build on last season’s 10th placed finish.
We’ve eyed up a tasty 16/1 Bet Builder for Sunday’s Championship clash:
- Aleksandar Mitrovic to score anytime
- Fulham to win
- Sam Morsy to be booked
- Both teams NOT to score

Fulham v Middlesbrough Bet Builder Betting Tip:
Aleksandar Mitrovic to score anytime
Despite Dynamo Moscow and Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma sniffing around for the services of Aleksandar Mitrovic, Fulham’s new boss Marco Silva seems adamant that the Serbian will stay in west London.
Mitrovic may well be crucial to the Portuguese’s plans this season considering his emphatic record in the Championship.
The 26-year-old banged in 26 goals the last time Fulham got promoted in the 2019-2020 season, and we expect him to continue where he left off.
Fulham to win
Fulham have one of the strongest squads in the division, littered with attacking talent who are more than capable of lighting up the Championship.
Aside from Mitrovic, Harry Wilson will be one to keep your eye on this season; he is as likely as anyone to provide that magic spark to separate the sides on Sunday.
Sam Morsy to be booked
Sam Morsy has received 34 yellow cards across his last three Championship seasons.
The Egyptian defensive midfielder is the beating heart of Boro in the middle of the park, but can often find himself needing to take one for the team.
He’s certainly a candidate to be booked at Craven Cottage.
Both teams NOT to score
Fulham clung onto the faint hope of Premier League survival last season due to their solidity in defence.
Marco Silva may well prioritise attacking flair over defensive stubbornness this campaign, but we still don’t expect the Cottagers to leak too many goals.
A Fulham win to nil looks well worth its inclusion in the Bet Builder, laying the BTTS market.
