Darts Premier League Acca Tips
We’re two weeks into the 2023 Darts Premier League and things couldn’t be much tighter at the top.
Four players are joint top on five points, two are on two and only Peter Wright and Jonny Clayton are so far pointless.
Both winners of previous weeks – Michael Smith and Gerwyn Price – lost their opening fixture in the opposite week, underlining the competitive nature of this season’s competition.
We’re off to Glasgow on Thursday as Peter Wright looks to enjoy some home comforts.
Let’s check out a juicy 20/1 acca that we have thrown together for Thursday night:
Nathan Aspinall vs Michael van Gerwen – Over 9.5 legs at 11/10
Something has to give in this one – Nathan Aspinall and Michael van Gerwen are the only two players in this season’s Premier League who are yet to lose their opening quarter-final.
Needless to say, both are in form, despite not winning a night between them.
Together they have thrown 31 180s already and we expect this contest to be evenly matched.
Over 9.5 legs in Glasgow is the pick.
Dimitri van den Bergh to beat Peter Wright at 13/10
Peter Wright is struggling in this season’s Premier League.
“Snakebite” has suffered 6-3 losses to Nathan Aspinall and Chris Dobey so far, and we’re expecting his good mate Dimitri van den Bergh to add to his woes.
Wright’s pedigree isn’t good in the Premier League when you consider his success elsewhere on the PDC Tour.
A runners-up outing in 2017 is his best in nine attempts, with two 7ths, an 8th and a 9th placed finish blotting his copybook.

Gerwyn Price vs Michael Smith – Over 6.5 180s at 11/10
In a match that could quite easily run 11 legs, backing the overs on the maximums market looks to make sense.
They have only combined to hit 13 so far in this year’s Premier League across six matches, so we’re expecting them to pick up the slack in Scotland.
Both are capable of hammering the 60-bed when on a roll.
Chris Dobey to beat Jonny Clayton at 11/10
Jonny Clayton is without a win in two attempts and looks the most likely candidate to be cut adrift early in the 2023 tournament.
The “Ferret” has only registered five legs and will have his work cut out against the in-form Dobey.
Dobey sits top of the league due to his leg difference and is throwing with confidence following his Masters win in January.
