The Champions League is back, and we’re all set for six match-weeks in the space of less than two months.
Let’s get this show on the road, and I’m kicking off with a 10/1 goal-focussed treble.
- Salzburg v AC Milan – Under 2.5 Goals
- RB Leipzig v Shakhtar Donetsk – Both Teams to Score
- Man City to Beat Sevilla and Both Teams to Score
Salzburg v AC Milan – Under 2.5 Goals
Salzburg give very little away domestically and haven’t conceded in their last four games. A 1-1 home draw with Bayern Munich in last season’s knockouts shows they’re a tough nut to crack in Austria.
And Milan lost two of their three away Champions League games last time out, so I don’t think they’ll have it all their own way in this one.
RB Leipzig v Shakhtar Donetsk – Both Teams to Score
This is usually a reliable selection in Leipzig games, with both teams scoring in five of their last six Champions League matches.
And although Shakhtar have started slowly on the goals front this season, there’s enough talent in the side to break through what is often a flimsy German defence.
Man City to Beat Sevilla and Both Teams to Score
They’re my favourites to go all the way this year and Man City have scored nine times in four games away from home this season.
In City’s two previous meetings with Sevilla they’ve won with both teams scoring, and with their hosts on a winless four-game run, I see the visitors returning to winning ways on Tuesday night.
