Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham) to score anytime v Newcastle
Fulham’s leading marksman has had an excellent start to his Premier League season, and he continued his scoring streak during the international break, netting four in two games over the last fortnight.
And against his former employers, he’ll have plenty of fire in his belly to score once again.
Chelsea to beat Crystal Palace
It’s Graham Potter’s first Premier League game in charge of Chelsea, and as far as omens go, he couldn’t have picked a better opponent this weekend.
Palace are winless since August, and the Eagles have lost all of their last ten meetings with this weekend’s opposition.
Norwich to beat Blackpool to nil
Blackpool have had a slow start to their Championship season, and particularly at home, where they’ve failed to score in three of their last four matches.
And against a Norwich side that has won four of its last five, I think the Tangerines will be left feeling blue come 5 o’clock.
Plymouth to beat Wycombe and both teams to score
Argyle have been in impressive form recently, winning five of their last six to take them to the summit of League One.
And their away form has seen them score 11 in their last four, so I think they’ll have too much firepower for a Wycombe side that’s lost its last three.
Leyton Orient to beat Newport
Orient’s record start to the League Two season is showing no signs of letting up, and they already sit five points clear at the top of the table after winning nine of their opening ten.
Newport come to town next, but the Welshmen have lost four of their last five, so all the signs point towards another three points for the East Londoners.
