16/1 World Cup Over/Under Goals Acca - 10am Start

Fresh off the back of our winning 16/1 over/under goals acca on Saturday, it was only right we returned to try and do it all again. Here’s the four selections I fancy on Monday, as we look to land the same winning bet, with the same big odds.

Here’s the four picks that combine for Monday’s acca, with odds of 16/1:

  • Cameroon v Serbia - Under 2.5 Goals
  • South Korea v Ghana - Over 2.5 Goals
  • Brazil v Switzerland - Over 2.5 Goals
  • Portugal v Uruguay - Over 2.5 Goals

16/1 over/under goals acca - 10am Start

We've got a pick from each game, as we look to follow up Saturday's winner

Cameroon v Serbia - Under 2.5 Goals

We kick off with the only game where we are going for under the line, and that’s the opener, Cameroon v Serbia. Both beaten in their opener, they have to come out and get something here, but the emphasis from both teams may be on not losing, rather than going all out to win the game.

This is probably more true for Serbia, because Cameroon play Brazil in their final game, but I still think this will all result in a tight, cagey affair, with few scoring chances. Neither scored in their first game, and didn’t create too much, more of the same please, here.

South Korea v Ghana - Over 2.5 Goals

This is the point in the day where our focus switches, and we want goals. Kicking off with this game, South Korea were perhaps a little too defensive in their opener, and must come out of their shell here. Ghana looked a little suspect defensively in their opener, which should help South Korea fashion some scoring chances.

At the other end, despite losing their first game, Ghana scored twice in their 3-2 defeat to Portugal. They attacked then, so certainly will here. Neither team are what you’d call clinical, but this should be open and end to end, hopefully with enough chances to get three goals or more.

Brazil v Switzerland - Over 2.5 Goals

Minus Neymar, I’m not expecting Brazil to be any less adventurous here, they have an abundance of replacements who can step in. I’m hoping Switzerland treat this as a free swing to qualify, they’ve nothing to lose, and no real reason to be defensive here, which would certainly help our hunt for goals.

Having said that, as Brazil settle into the tournament, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them hit this line by themselves, such is their attacking talent. A big Brazil win, maybe with one in for Switzerland, should be enough to get this over the line.

Portugal v Uruguay - Over 2.5 Goals

We’ve seen both sides of Portugal that makes this appeal, their ability to score goals, and also their ability to defend poorly. Uruguay were simply not good enough in their opener, and have to open up here, they’ve got the attacking talent to score, when they play well.

Portugal will attack, that’s their strength, and while that can bring goals, it also leaves gaps at the back, hopefully enough for Uruguay to take advantage, and turn this into a high scoring, entertaining game, rounding off our over/under goals acca.
