17/1 World Cup Anytime Scorer Double - Tuesday 3pm Start

World Cup 2022 Round of 16 is going to be completed on Tuesday with two clashes. The action starts at Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan where Morocco faces Spain.

The Atlas Lions were one of the most pleasant surprise packages in the group stages, managing to earn seven points against rough opponents Belgium, Canada and Croatia.

Moroccan fans had to wait for 26 years to see their national team in the knockout phase. Their only Round of 16 match was in 1986 against Germany (lost 0-1). The second match of the day is Portugal versus Switzerland. Check our Anytime Scorer Double selections below.

  • Ferran Torres – Morocco vs SPAIN
  • Breel Embolo – Portugal vs SWITZERLAND

17/1 Anytime Scorer Double - 3pm Tuesday

We like two scorers to fire on Tuesday

Ferran Torres – Morocco vs SPAIN

The Red Fury finished second in Group E, suspiciously losing to Japan in the 3rd round. Many would say that Spain’s main goal was to avoid a potential tie against Croatia which seems a slightly more serious opponent. Spaniards were eliminated at this stage in World Cup 2018 in Russia, but history says they never suffered back-to-back defeats in Round of 16.

The scoring potential is absolutely huge. Spain scored a total of nine goals in the first three games. A big majority of those came in the opener against Costa Rica (7-0). Barcelona’s Ferran Torres is in a great shape right now and is expected to be in the starting lineup after being rested against Japan. He scored two goals in the tournament, made 72 appearances for the national team and scored 24 goals. We fancy his chances at 21/10 to find back of the net versus Morocco and Spain to advance. The Red Fury has so many attacking options available, and most importantly experience in playing big games.

Breel Embolo - Portugal vs SWITZERLAND

Both Portugal and Switzerland qualified for the knockout phase after collecting six points in the group stages. La Nati were just one goal shy from topping Group G ahead of Brazil. In our opinion, this could be the closest match-up we have in the Round of 16, having a high chance of going into overtime. Bookmakers in the UK have labelled Portugal as the favorite at 9/10 odds, but we are not expecting things to go smoothly for CR7 and co.

Not so long ago Switzerland eliminated France in EURO 2020, and their current roster is almost identical now in Qatar. Breel Embolo has replaced Haris Seferovic in the starting lineup and so far he’s been brilliant in the tournament, scoring goals against Cameroon and Serbia. We see massive value in backing Monaco’s striker to beat Diogo Costa on Tuesday at 5/1!
