Bundesliga Acca Tips – 12/1 Bet for Saturday 2.30PM Start

The Bundesliga is shaping up to have one of the most thrilling title races in recent memory.

It is quite bunched up at the top of the table, and there are some more compelling clashes to lock yourself in this weekend, including a Borussia Dortmund v SC Freiburg.

I am waltzing off to Germany, and I have gone with a sumptuous treble paying out at 12/1 with bet365.

Borussia Dortmund v SC Freiburg – HOME WIN

This clash at Signal Iduna Park will see fourth face off against fifth in the Bundesliga table. Only goal difference separates the pair with Dortmund having netted four more than Freiburg.

Dortmund have had no problem scoring, netting two or more in each of their past four league outings, and they are irresistible to watch at times.

After shipping three against Augsburg, Dortmund have tried to tighten things up at the back, while Freiburg’s form has been shakier. They certainly eviscerated memories of their 6-0 thrashing at the hands of Union Berlin last month.

Edin Terzic can also count on the likes of Marco Reus and Gio Reyna to weave their magic, and Dortmund might be too strong. This is a pivotal month for the Bumblebees, who also have a Champions League tie looming against Chelsea.

I’m going to kick things off by plumping for a home win, which is available at a short 13/20, but expect there to be goals in this one.

Cologne v RB Leipzig – AWAY WIN

Leipzig have hit their stride under Marco Rose, and he has presided over an 11-match unbeaten run in the Bundesliga (16 in all competitions). Even without their top marksman Christopher Nkunku, they have been tough to break down.

Since succeeding Domenico Tedesco in September, Leipzig have been electric and they are firmly in the title picture.

To illustrate how potent Leipzig have been, no other team compares when it comes to counter-attacking goals scored (seven), goals from set-pieces (12), or even goals contributed by different players (15).

While Leipzig were pegged back twice by Cologne in a 2-2 draw back in August, I have a hunch Leipzig will get over the line this time and pick up all three points.

Union Berlin v Mainz – AWAY WIN

From being also-rans last term, Union Berlin are shaking things up at the top, and they are currently second in the table, just a point behind Bayern Munich.

The good times seem to be rolling for Berlin, who have benefited from the deadly partnership struck up between Sheraldo Becker and Jordan.

Four wins on the bounce in all competitions would indicate that Berlin are in a rich vein of form, and while Mainz will seem like an easy touch, they won’t roll out the red carpet for Berlin.

Mainz will have been licking their wounds after a 4-0 reverse at the hands of Bayern in the Round of 16 of the DFB-Pokal Cup in midweek, but they will be desperate to lift themselves off the canvas, and they could well spring a surprise.

Although Berlin’s progress has been exceptional, they could suffer a hiccup, and Mainz could nick a win.
