Liverpool v Fulham Free Bets, Betting Tips & Predictions

Liverpool will be looking to rubber stamp fifth spot in the Premier League when they take on Fulham on Wednesday evening.

The Anfield faithful will have only just caught their breath after a pulsating 4-3 win over Tottenham last Sunday.

After blowing a three-goal lead, Diogo Jota sent the crowd into raptures with a last-gasp strike in stoppage time.

Fulham, meanwhile, have been in a downward spiral form wise, but a top-10 finish looks eminently possible.

However, they will be without their lethal marksman Aleksandar Mitrovic who will continue to serve a suspension for putting his hands on a match official.

It remains to be seen whether Jurgen Klopp will be on the touchline after ranting and raving at Paul Tierney before he pulled a hamstring while celebrating his side’s late winner against Tottenham.

This could be a fascinating game, and we can’t wait to see how things unfold. I have dived into the betting markets and plucked out a couple of tips to consider ahead of kick-off.

Liverpool to continue winning run

Liverpool have been a strange beast this term — there have been spells of dizzying excellence mixed in with some extremely suspect defending that has cost them.

Having said that, they have been the great entertainers, rattling home 15 goals in their past four Premier League outings, and they have a faint chance of a top-four finish, although that will require Manchester United to stumble in their last four games.

The victory over Tottenham was symptomatic of their campaign, but they got over the line, and they will relish facing a Fulham side who have looked fatigued over the past few weeks.

You never quite know what to expect from the Reds, and they played out an absorbing 2-2 draw with Fulham at Craven Cottage earlier in the season.

Keeping a clean sheet will be hard for Liverpool, but I fancy them to pick up three points. For my first pick, I am leaning to the Correct Score section, and gone with a 2-1 win for Liverpool, a price that is available at 13/2 with Paddy Power.

Diogo Jota to grab a double

After waiting a long time for a bus, two came at once for Diogo Jota, and he has started to rekindle his goalscoring touch.

Five goals in his past four outings encompass this, and while he hasn’t been as prolific for the Reds this season, he is always a slippery customer.

He will latch onto any loose ball, and he is a menace in and around the six-yard box.

The Portuguese international could well make a telling contribution against Fulham. For my second pick, I have gone with Jota to grab both goals, which is trading at 8/1 with William Hill.
