Four Picks For Premier League Saturday Matches

Erling Haaland – MANCHESTER CITY v Leeds

For those that have been living under a rock and need a little reminder, well Erling Haaland has been ruthless, and he has been breaking records left, right, and centre.

It is feasible he could wind up with 40 Premier League goals before the season is out, and with the chance to claim a historic treble too, things have gone swimmingly for the Norwegian in his debut campaign in England’s top flight.

Leeds struggled to contain Haaland in the previous encounter as Haaland netted twice for the visitors at Elland Road in a 3-1 victory.

Haaland is never far from thoughts on an anytime acca, so let’s put him in, and he’s at 4/11 to find the target.

Harry Kane – TOTTENHAM v CRYSTAL PALACE

Harry Kane would have been crestfallen after the Liverpool defeat. Having given Tottenham a lifeline, to chuck away a draw at the end would have been tough to swallow.

It’s fair to say that Kane enjoys a London derby, and his side won’t want to give up on fifth spot without a battle.

With six goals in his past five meetings with Palace, Kane, who has struck 25 times this term, would love to hit the 30-goal mark before the season finishes.

Given his robust record against the Eagles, I have gone with him as my second pick at 10/11 to net anytime during the 90 minutes.

Ollie Watkins – Wolves v ASTON VILLA

Ollie Watkins has been a beacon of light for Aston Villa this term, who are still in the mix for a top-six finish.

He has an electrifying turn of pace, and he’s chipped in with 14 goals in the top flight this term.

Expect a few more from him this season, and he could well find the net at 11/8 against a Wolves side that were wretched last weekend, as they capitulated in a 6-0 drubbing at the hands of Brighton.

Diogo Jota – LIVERPOOL v Brentford

Although Mohamed Salah will generally attract most of the headlines, Diogo Jota has exploded into life in recent weeks.

For large chunks of the campaign, he struggled to hit the target, but he has come good at just the right time in the run-in.

Brentford won’t be any pushovers, but Jota could well add to his tally for the campaign by getting on the scoresheet against the Bees.
