Sheffield United will be hoping they don’t get stage fright when they face Manchester City at Bramall Lane on Sunday afternoon.
The hosts have already found things tough going in the Premier League, netting just once, and the lack of goals could be their Achilles Heel.

There have been ruminations that United are close to agreeing a deal to land Cameron Archer from Aston Villa, and signing a striker is a priority before the transfer window closes.
And perhaps the last thing United will want is to face a City side, who are yet to ship a goal, and lie second in the table, with Brighton top by virtue of goal difference.
Despite being left reeling by Kevin De Bruyne’s long-term injury, Bernardo Silva put pen to paper on a one-year contract extension earlier this week, which will have been welcomed by the fans.
It could be a feisty clash in the Steel City, but will City show their mettle? I have unearthed a couple of tips for you to consider adding to your betting slips ahead of kick-off.
Manchester City to make light work of things
Usually, City have been accustomed to slightly slower starts, but last season’s Treble winners have already set out their stall early.
Pep Guardiola’s men mean business, and there were some very pleasing aspects about the 1-0 win over Newcastle last weekend.
Had Erling Haaland not scuffed a couple of chances that fell his way, then perhaps the margin of victory may have been much greater.
United, meanwhile, will have been disappointed not to have got a point from the City Ground after Gustavo Hamer’s stunning strike on his debut, but defensively, they look very suspect.
Although the Blades will be roared on by a vociferous home crowd, City could take the wind out of their sails.
It is worth noting that three of the past four clashes between City and United have ended in 1-0 wins for the Citizens, and Guardiola’s charges will monopolise possession.
For my first pick, I have gone with the Correct Score line and City to prevail 2-0 which is available at a tempting 19/4 with Betway.
Julian Alvarez to steal the show
Julian Alvarez has been sensational for City since he joined in January 2022, and he looks the real deal at 23.
Only Haaland scored more goals in all competitions last term than Alvarez, and the Argentine netted nine times in the league.
Alvarez’s goal against Newcastle was wonderfully taken, and he could give the Blades plenty of problems.
Ordinarily, Haaland grabs the headlines, but for a bit more value, I am going with Alvarez to grab a double.
If you fancy following up on that, William Hill is advertising an eye-catching price of 9/1.
