World Cup: 27/1 Anytime Scorer Acca for Monday 21st November

The first full day of competition at the World Cup, and with that in mind, it’s time to kick off our daily goals acca that will be running throughout the tournament.

Today, it’s focus is anytime goal scorers, we’ve put three together on the same day, and they combine for a huge 27/1 treble to get us started!

  • Raheem Sterling - ENGLAND v Iran
  • Cody Gakpo - NETHERLANDS v Senegal
  • Gareth Bale - WALES v USA

Raheem Sterling - ENGLAND v Iran

We kick off with Raheem Sterling to score anytime for England against Iran. Sterling arrives out of form, he’s not been great at Chelsea, and for that reason, many are questioning whether he should be in the team or not.

But he’s thrived off this before, he scores goals at international level, and is one of Gareth Southgate’s most trusted attacking players.

I expect him to start, and would not be surprised at all, if he starts with a bang, scoring for England in this one, and he kicks off the treble on Monday for us.

Cody Gakpo - NETHERLANDS v Senegal

We move next to the 4pm kick off, and here we go with Netherlands attacking star, Cody Gakpo. He’s going to play here, because there’s a huge doubt around Memphis Depay, and he is perhaps one of the most in form strikers heading to Qatar.

He leads the scoring charts in the Eredivsie, he’s a great finisher, and given what he’s done this season, should be full of confidence.

Losing Sadio Mane is a big blow for Senegal, they could struggle a lot here, and Gakpo is one of many players that could cause them problems.

Gareth Bale - WALES v USA

We end with the 7pm game and look towards Wales superstar Gareth Bale. This is going to be a close game, and a bit of magic from someone may be the difference between the teams.

If that is the case, then from a Wales point of view, there is no one better placed to bring that than Bale. He’s the centre point of everything they do, and always elevates his game for his country, more often than not, the bigger the stage, the better Bale is.

Rounding off a big 27/1 treble on Monday across all three games, we go with Bale, to hopefully seal the deal in the evening for us.
