The hosts Qatar kick-off the 2022 World Cup against Ecuador, and history points to there being goals in this clash - the last four World Cup openers have seen 17 goals scored.
So a play on both nations scoring could be a decent bet here - Ecuador banged in 27 goals in qualifying for the tournament, while Qatar put two past Chile at the end of September in an international friendly.
Italy to beat Austria & over 2.5 goals
Austria host Italy in Vienna, with both sides no doubt casting an envious eye towards Qatar, but the Azzurri should have the class to take the spoils in this clash.
And goals should be on the agenda also in the Ernst-Happel-Stadion - Italy have scored at least twice in three of their last four games, while the Austrians have managed just one clean sheet in their previous six.
Malta v Republic of Ireland - both teams to score
Ireland are odds on to record a win against Malta, but they’re not a side to trust at short odds, so a better bet in this one could be on both sides to score.
Both sides struggle at the back - Malta have managed just one clean sheet in their last seven, while both teams have scored in the last four of the Republic’s games.
