Give Tigers Double Chance Against United
Hull double chance v Man Utd
Premier League legend Matt Le Tissier tips a tricky ride for Manchester United in their game against Hull City on Boxing Day.
A great Boxing Day fixture list kicks off with Hull City v Manchester United at the KC Stadium at 12:45. United travel to Humberside with a record of seven wins in seven games against the Tigers, dating back to 1974. However, Hull have surprised many onlookers with the way they’ve adapted to life in the top flight, most notably with a well-earned 3-1 victory against Liverpool at the beginning of December.
Matt Le Tissier tips: “You would normally expect Manchester United to win this but Hull’s form is pretty decent, they’ve only been beaten once at home so far. United are not in the best of form and this could be trickier for United than people think.
Seeing what Hull did to Liverpool I wouldn’t mind having a little punt on Hull on the Double Chance at 16/11 with 888sport.”
Hull’s home record reads W4, D3, L1 and Steve Bruce will be hoping to register his managerial victory against the club he represented over 300 times in his playing career.
United are in an unfamiliar position going into Christmas under new manager David Moyes. Currently eighth in the Premier League, United are eight points behind the pace set by Liverpool and Arsenal at the top of the table. Despite concerns that United might fail to win any silverware this season, Moyes’ men have won their last four in all competitions and will be looking to carry that form into the New Year.
