Thursday’s Goodwood Acca Betting Tips:

Gubbass to Win the 2.25pm

The Richmond Stakes includes some potentially very smart prospects as is usual for this match.

Among the illustrious list of winners is Mehmas and his son Gubbass is taken to follow in his sire’s footsteps at 4/1 with Virgin Bet.

Sean Levey was taken with Gubbass’ win in the Weatherby’s Super Sprint just a couple of weeks ago and hopes are high that race won’t leave a mark as he went into it off a decent break.

Third Realm to Win the 3.00pm

The Epsom Derby did not go to plan for Third Realm.

Roger Varian’s colt went into the race having just beaten Adayar but he will be better for that experience and can gain some compensation in the Gordon Stakes.

Wordsworth, Yibir and Sir Lucan rate as the biggest rivals to the favourite but Third Realm has a potentially very big future ahead of him and can return to winning ways at 2/1 with Virgin Bet.

Joan Of Arc to Win the 3.35pm

The Nassau Stakes is the feature race of the day and features a cracking battle between Joan Of Arc, Audarya and Lady Bowthorpe who occupy the top three places in the betting.

Audarya’s improvement over the last year is remarkable while fellow five-year-old Lady Bowthorpe has been better than ever this season.

They both have it all to do to get the better of Joan Of Arc though. Aidan O’Brien has been very happy with her progress this season and she looks capable of taking the extra step forward required to win this at 15/8 with Virgin Bet.
