The Best Horse Racing Tips for Redcar and Leicester on Monday

Redcar and Leicester supply the Horse Racing Flat action on Monday afternoon. We will provide two Horse Racing tips for the racecourse on the North-East coast and one for the card at the East Midlands venue.

The feature race at Redcar is a Class 3 one mile handicap at 2.05pm and we will supply a Horse Racing tip for this nine-runner contest along with the preceding 6f nursery at 1.30pm. At Leicester our Horse Racing tip comes in the 4.35pm race, a Class 3 handicap run over the minimum trip of 5f.

Our Tip for the 1.30pm at Redcar:

A wide-open 20-runner soft-ground nursery in which the betting is expected to prove a significant guide to the outcome with so many unexposed juveniles, including southern challenger Accelerando from the stable of Simon & Ed Crisford.

One horse who looks to have been campaigned with a view to end-of-season nurseries is the Richard Fahey-trained Heart Of Kabeir who has shown enough in her four starts to date to suggest the daughter of El Kabeir is capable of winning a race of this nature.

The mount of Paul Hanagan looked very green on her debut at Catterick towards the end of August, as was the case on her next two starts at Carlisle and back at Catterick.

Making her handicap debut at Newcastle recently, Heart Of Kabeir attempted to make all of the running only to be headed inside the final furlong, after which her rider was not hard on the filly. Dropped 3lb by the handicapper and with that experience under her belt the selection is fancied to make the frame at the very least.

Our Tip for the 2.05pm at Redcar:

Having his first run in a handicap, the unbeaten William Haggas-trained Mujtaba is almost impossible to assess based on two easy odds-on victories in minor contests at Chepstow and Chester.

On opening mark of 90 may, in time, turn out to have been lenient but on this occasion it could b e worth siding with top weight Last Look from the stable of Saeed bin Suroor.

The five-year-old mare, winner of her three starts in Britain as a three-year-old in 2019, was off the track for 524 days before competing, without success, in two races at Meydan earlier in the year.

The mount of Pat Cosgrave was having her first run back in Britain for over two years when finishing a fine third at York earlier this month and with conditions to suit (won on the soft at Nottingham) the daughter of Pivotal could easily outclass her eight rivals.

Our Tip for the 4.35pm at Leicester:

Successful in one of her nine starts this season, the consistent Tony Coyle-trained Ey Up It’s Maggie will not be winning out of turn if able to get her head in front in this seven-runner sprint handicap.

The daughter of Equiano ran out a comfortable winner of a fillies’ handicap at Carlisle back in May, since when the mount of Cam Hardie, despite running consistently well in better company, has failed to trouble the judge again off higher marks.

The three-year-old filly has plenty of form on soft ground over the minimum trip and from stall one this looks a great opportunity for Ey Up It’s Maggie to get back to winning ways. Next best may be bottom weight Four Adaay who was runner-up over course and distance earlier in the month.
