The Best Horse Racing Tips for Catterick on Tuesday

Horse Racing on Tuesday afternoon comes from the meetings at Catterick, Chelmsford and Ffos Las. We will provide Horse Racing tips, previews and predictions for three races from the North Yorkshire racecourse.

Our Tip for the 1.35pm at Catterick:

Only five runners for this seven furlong three-year-old handicap but an interesting contest all the same. The ex-French-trained Genetique, on her first start for David O’Meara, could prove better than an opening mark of 82 in time but may just need the run.

Street Kid and Toussarok are likely to open their account before too long. But the one to beat is the unexposed Entwistle from the Karl Burke stable.

The mount of Clifford Lee, following a couple of promising runs on the all -weather earlier this year, won snugly over today’s course and distance last month when beating main market rival Cover Name without being fully extended.

On the gelding’s first run in a handicap, a mark of 80 looks far from harsh

Our Tip for the 2.10pm at Catterick:

The two horses at the top of the weights for this 6f handicap, Sfumato and Signore Piccolo, have leading claims following recent victories. However, at a double-figure price the Declan Carroll-trained Jakacan may prove the each-way value in an open race.

Harrison Shaw’s mount produced his best effort to date on this course last month when third of 14 in a competitive handicap after making much of the running.

This drop down in trip plus the return to a softer surface, following a disappointing effort at Redcar recently, could see the 57-rated gelding outrun his odds.

Our Tip for the 3.55pm at Catterick:

The five-year-old mare Amourie finally got her head in front at the 20th time of asking when taking a similar contest over course and distance just over a week ago.

That Class 6 race may not have taken a lot of winning, but the mount of Tom Eaves is only 3lb higher here and on her only other visit to the course beat all bar hot favourite Atailof Two Cities over 2m last October.

The Ray Craggs-trained mare seems to reserve her best for the North Yorkshire track and is fancied to get the better of Southern raider True Romance and the consistent Bouncing Bobby.
