The Best Horse Racing Tips for Windsor on Monday

Flat Horse Racing action in Britain on Monday comes from Brighton and Wolverhampton in the afternoon and Windsor in the evening. We will go to the Berkshire track for today’s Horse Racing tips, previews and predictions.

We will supply Horse Racing tips for the final three races on the card, a 5f sprint handicap at 7.45pm, a Class 4 handicap run over 1m 2f at 8.15pm, and finally an extended 1m 3f handicap at 8.45pm.

Our Tip for the 7.45pm at Windsor:

The betting for this five-runner handicap, run over the minimum trip, is dominated by the top three horses in the weights – Nelson Gay, Warrior Brave and Hey Mr. However, at a much bigger price the Richard Hannon-trained Kool Moe Dee could have been underestimated in the market.

The mount of talented 3lb claimer Thore Hammer Hansen finished fifth in the Super Sprint at Newbury last season, a nose in front of fellow rival Nelson Gay and now enjoys a pull of no less than 17lb with that horse. Going on to win his next two races, at Southwell and Bath, the Mehmas gelding looks on a very attractive mark of 80 based on his two-year-old form.

While yet to hit top form as a three-year-old, Kool Moe Dee wasn’t beaten far in a competitive York handicap last week before finishing fourth at Haydock over 6f on Saturday. The drop back to the minimum trip should suit the selection, who, if taking up this option just two days later, can reward connections with a first victory of the season.

Our Tip for the 8.15pm at Windsor:

Mafia Power, Vintage Rascal and Bad Company and all closely matched based on their finishing positions in a recent race over course and distance. The fourth placed horse, Mafia Power, is expected to overturn that form with runner-up Bad Company. But the horse who appeals most is bottom weight Gold Souk.

Since joining trainer Daniel Steele from Mark Johnston last November the gelding had done all of his racing on an artificial surface, prior to running on soft ground at Lingfield earlier this month. A comfortable winner of that 1m 2f contest, Gold Souk has since finished fifth at Brighton over an extra two furlongs.

The return to 1m 2f should suit the mount of Hayley Turner who partners the son of Casamento for the first time and the pair can go close in receipt of plenty of weight from their rivals.

Our Tip for the 8.45pm at Windsor:

This looks a good opportunity for the Tony Carroll-trained Global Style to open his account at the thirtieth attempt in a race which looks to concern the mount of Hector Crouch and Suns Up Guns Up, from the Amanda Perrett stable.

The latter is the least exposed of the pair and ran well to finish second on the course earlier this month, the horse’s third run on turf. However, Global Style has been knocking at the door on both turf and the all-weather for some time. And connections may finally have found the ideal race for the Nathaniel gelding.

Prior to a run at Brighton last month when finishing fifth, the selection’s last start on turf was at Windsor in October 2020, beating all bar winner Rains Of Castamere in a competitive 13-runner soft-ground 1m handicap. A reproduction of that effort should be good enough to take a race of this nature.
