Inter v Roma Betting Tips

One of Serie A’s biggest games rolls around this weekend and to say there’s a little bit at stake is an understatement.

Just three points separate Inter and Roma, the latter having a game in hand as they look to catch a head of their top four rivals.

Both have hit a tough patch of form. Inter haven’t won in seven in all competitions while their rivals have completed just one win in six. Not great form going into what could potentially be one of the biggest games of the season.

Both sides need to win as five teams fight it out for those topfour spots.

Inter Milan v Roma Betting Odds

The home side go into the tie as favourites for this one at 13/10 in what could be a tense and close encounter. It’s a game where we won’t be expecting tons of goals so we’ll be taking a punt on the game to be decided by one goal.

A Total Match Goals Under 1.5 Goals looks a sensible bet at 10/3, with Roma failing to score more than one in nine of the last 10 games. It’s a similar story with Luciano Spalletti’s men who have netted just twice in their last seven.

Roma go into the tie at 15/8 with bookmakers online and will have star midfielder Radja Nainggolan back after being dropped in the cup game last week.

AS Roma betting

He’ll be a key man for Roma if they’re to go level on points with Inter and is at 14/5 to score anytime.

It’s Inter’s Mauro Icardi Who is favourite to net in the game however. The Argentinian striker has 18 goals in 20 games in The league and is well worth a Serie A free bet ahead of the tie.

With goals likely to be few and far between a 1-0 win with Icardi to score at 22/1 looks absolutely great value.

Roma will also be hoping they can steal a goal and see out the game, with Edwin Dzeko their most likely candidate to knock it between the posts at 13/10 anytime scorer.

A draw could be an option with punters, a 1-1 a good shout at 13/2. The home side have drawn four times since the beginning of December, and we wouldn’t be surprised if they made that five.

Inter Milan v Roma Head-to-Head

Inter have taken the edge over Roma once already this season, beating the side 3-1 at the Stadio Olimpico. A repeat of that tie is priced at 16/1 with bookmakers.

In fact their last two fixtures have finished the same scoreline with Roma winning this exact fixture 3-1 a little under a year ago.

Their last 10 meetings have seen Inter win just three times, while Roma have taken the spoils four times with three draws.

It’s a really even contest this one and with both sides struggling to find form, it could make for a great fixture or a dour 0-0 draw (12/1). If you’re after a goal fest, we suggest you look elsewhere.
