Man City To Enjoy Goodison Visit
Football legend Matt Le Tissier tips Man City to win at against Everton in the Premier League lunch-time kick-off today.
In recent seasons Everton have started slowly and finished strongly in the Premier League, but 2012/13 looks like it could be the complete opposite. After a decent start to the campaign they were tipped as outsiders for Champions League qualification, but just one win from their last four games has seen them fall off the pace dramatically.
Wigan caused quite an upset when they put three past Everton at Goodison Park last weekend to knock The Toffees out of the FA Cup and with rivals Liverpool now above them in the table, Everton fans are still in a state of shock.
Matt Le Tissier Tip: “I expected City to be about 4/6 for their trip to Everton but they are as big as 11/10 with Paddy Power. That’s too big, especially when you consider how the Toffees played against Wigan in the FA Cup last weekend, so snap that up.”
Evertonians hoping for an easy game to get back on track won’t get one here, Man City have returned to form with back to back Premier League wins against Chelsea and Aston Villa in recent weeks. The Citizens kept clean sheets in both of those games and are looking well organised at the back. Carlos Tevez also looks to be back in the goalscoring groove after finding the net in both of those games and the Argentinian is sure to cause problems for the Everton defence today.
