No Hope For San Marino
Back Welbeck & Lambert To Get On The Scoresheet
Matt Le Tissier gives Freebets.com his football betting tips for tonight’s England v San Marino Euro 2016 qualifier at Wembley.
Danny Welbeck was fantastic away to Switzerland and has impressed since moving to Arsenal on deadline day. With Sturridge out he’ll be a real thorn in the side of San Marino this evening and backed up by Wayne Rooney and Rickie Lambert, it’s unlikely that the visitors will keep the Three Lions at bay for long. Roy Hodgson may be looking for an all round performance over a goal-glut, but his England players will be hoping to chalk up a big win this evening.
These teams were in the same qualifying group for the 2014 World Cup and recent history does no bode well for San Marino. England won 5-0 at Wembley with Welbeck and Rooney each bagging a brace, before winning the return fixture 8-0 in Serraville.
Matt Le Tissier Tips: “With England at incredibly long odds-on to win tonight I’m sure you’ll all be steering well clear of the match odds market. William Hill have priced up a Danny Welbeck and Wayne Rooney Anytime Goalscorer double at 8/11 which looks fair enough with plenty of goals expected for the home side and my shout for the Correct Score is 8-0 at 10/1 with Coral.”
Fabian Delph is available for tonight’s Euro 2016 qualifier after recovering from a knock picked up against Manchester City, while James Milner played well in that clash with Aston Villa and will be pushing for inclusion. Raheem Sterling and Jordan Henderson have been in great form for Liverpool, so should be involved along with Adam Lallana and up-front Welbeck looks certain to partner Rooney given his recent form.
