Premier League – 20/1 Bet Builder: Liverpool v Burnley

Liverpool take on Burnley in Premier League action on Saturday & we've put together a 201/ Bet Builder for the big match at Anfield.
At 20/1 a £10 bet would return £210

Liverpool will be looking to make it two wins from two Premier League games on Saturday as they welcome Burnley to Anfield.

The Reds finished last season strongly and they picked up where they left off with a comfortable 3-0 win over Norwich at Carrow Road last Saturday.

Burnley arrive on the back of an opening day loss to Brighton and things aren’t likely to get much better for Sean Dyche and his side come full-time at Anfield.

We’ve put together a 20/1 Bet Builder for the big lunchtime clash.

  • Liverpool to win
  • Mohamed Salah to have 2 or more shots on target
  • Chris Wood to have 2 or more shots
  • Over 1.5 Burnley cards
  • Ashley Westwood to be booked

Liverpool v Burnley Bet Builder Betting Tip:

Liverpool to win

Liverpool looked back to their best against Norwich on the opening day of the new season, bulldozing their way to a comfortable 3-0 victory.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are now unbeaten in their last 11 league games and have scored 16 goals in their last six – they now face a Burnley side that have lost eight of their last ten Premier League matches, including all of their last four.

Mohamed Salah to have 2 or more shots on target

Salah was in full flow in last weekend’s 3-0 win over Norwich, helping himself to a goal and two assists.

He finished the game having had five shots with two on target and in front of a full Anfield we expect him to hit the target at least twice again.

Chris Wood to have 2 or more shots

Wood is Burnley’s main attacking outlet and he managed three shots in their opening game loss against Brighton.

He led the way last season in attempts for the Clarets and he’s managed at least two shots in 10 of his last 13 Premier League games.

Over 1.5 Burnley cards

Burnley notched up two yellow cards in their loss to Brighton last weekend with James Tarkowski and Johann Berg Gudmondsson finding their way into the referee’s book.

They are going to be under the cosh for long periods of time on Saturday against a Liverpool side with plenty of pace and aggression going forward so we expect Sean Dyche’s side to pick up at least another two cards.

Ashley Westwood to be booked

Ashley Westwood picked up a squad-high seven bookings last season and the combative midfielder looks a nice bet to end up in Mike Dean’s notebook in front of a packed Anfield.
