After a turbulent 2021, Manchester United get under way in 2022 on Monday night, but will it be a case of “new year, new me” under Ralph Rangnick, or much of the unpredictable same?

Wolves are the visitors inside Old Trafford looking to continue their resurgence under Bruno Lage.

We’ve got a tasty Bet Builder on offer weighing in at 14/1:

  • Manchester United to win
  • Scott McTominay Over 0.5 shots on target

Manchester United v Wolves Bet Builder Betting Tip:

Manchester United to win

Manchester United may not be flying, but Ralph Rangnick has certainly steadied the ship since taking over the wheel.

The ‘Red Devils’ are unbeaten in eight since a humbling away to Watford and have won their last three at home in the league.

No Premier Leagye side in history can boast a greater win-rate in the month of January than United (65%) and with three wins on the spin against Wolves in head-to-heads, the home win looks too tempting to ignore.

Scott McTominay Over 0.5 shots on target

Fresh off of a goal and an assist against Burnley last time out, Scott McTominay is worth a look for a shot on target.

The Scot contributed four Premier League goals last campaign and is a growing presence in the heart of the Manchester United midfield.

The 25-year-old isn’t afraid to shoot from range and is likely to find himself in promising positions on Monday.

Romain Saiss to be booked

Romain Saiss is on three bookings for the season so far and has managed to keep his nose relatively clean despite pretty much playing every minute for his club.

He was booked in the reverse fixture earlier on this season and before he trots off to AFCON will be tested against United’s new 2-2-2 attack.

We expect Wolves to be under the cosh for large periods of Monday’s game with Saiss forced into a couple of challenges for the team.
