Newcastle v Leeds Bet Builder Betting Tip:

Both teams to score

This duo find themselves at the bottom of the table due to some horrific defensive records so far this season – Newcastle have conceded 12 in four games while Leeds have leaked 11.

But they have been scoring though – both teams have bagged in six of their eight combined Premier League games, while Newcastle have seen goals at both ends in 13 of their last 16 home league games.

Over 4.5 Newcastle corners

Leeds’ high press could them leave a tad vulnerable at the back this evening and Newcastle have averaged 4.5 corners so far this season, including their match against Manchester United.

The visitors have conceded at least five corners in each of their league matches so far so Newcastle to hit five or more looks like a solid play.

Raphina to score

Raphina helped himself to a goal in Leeds’ 2-2 draw against Everton and he’s shown already this season that he’s not shy at having a pop at goal with 12 shots in his four league appearances.

He’s also the go-to guy for free kicks and he looks overpriced to grab his second goal of the season tonight against one of the poorest defences in the Premier League.

Kalvin Phillips to be booked

Phillips heading the betting in this market is the new norm and in his last six Premier League games he’s picked up four cards – he tops the Leeds charts for tackles and fouls committed.

His job tonight will be to stop Newcastle breaking quickly against the Leeds press and it would be no shock to see him make his way into Mike Dean’s notebook.
