Racing Tip: Penalty Unlikely To Stop Jupiter Storm At 7.20 Windsor
Penalty Unlikely To Stop Jupiter Storm At 7.20 Windsor
Market leader for the Class 4 handicap at 7.20 Windsor this evening, Jupiter Storm is tipped to make it back-to-back victories at the Berkshire venue.
Gary Moore’s charge can be backed at a stand-out price of 9/4 with Ladbrokes to follow up his impressive victory at this course 7 days ago and will take some stopping if turning up in the same mood.
The chestnut gelding has been campaigned at Windsor since making a modest return to action in his seasonal reappearance in April, before building on that effort to finish runner-up off a mark of 77 in May. Jupiter Storm then had plenty in hand when trouncing Ronaldinho by an 8 length margin over 1 mile, 4 furlongs in cheek-pieces last week to suggest a 6lb penalty won’t stop him following up that success today. The fact that the selection is dropping to a 1 mile 2 furlong trip today will go some way to negating that rise in the weights and the fact that the headgear is retained is another positive.
The remainder of the field may not get a look in if Jupiter Storm emulates his effort of last week, but Perfect Cracker could mount a challenge with a clear run given jockey Ryan Tate’s 5lb allowance. The handicapper may also have been lenient on Bobbyscot who arrives with just a 3lb rise to cope with following a narrow victory at Chepstow last month, but he may have to settle for a place today at the expense of Jupiter Storm.
