Warrington’s Matty Ashton to Score a Hat-trick Against Wakefield – 12/1 William Hill
The speedy outside-back is one of the fastest players in Super League and has scored twice in five appearances so far this term. But there are surely plenty more tries to come and, with Warrington expected to win relatively comfortably on Saturday, Ashton will be looking to fill his boots.
In a game to be televised live on Channel 4, expect Ashton to take centre stage as Daryl Powell’s side look to bounce back from successive defeats.
Warrington Wolves v Wakefield Trinity – Warrington/Warrington at Half-time/Full-time – 4/9 William Hill
Not since 1955 have Warrington been crowned champions and, after losses to Catalans and St Helens, they have looked anything but title aspirants. But in facing a Wakefield side who have lost all but one of their five games so far this term, the Wolves should run out victorious on Saturday lunchtime.
A third straight loss to perennial strugglers Trinity is unthinkable, so the hosts should lead this game at the interval and at the final hooter.

St Helens Winger Tommy Makinson to be First Try-scorer Against Toulouse – 13/2 at bet365*
The England international has started the season in blistering form, notching seven tries in five appearances so far. In a World Cup year, that is encouraging news for national team boss Shaun Wane.
In the meantime, Makinson’s aim is to keep on scoring and, having crossed the whitewash twice last week, he is a decent bet to grab the first try against Toulouse with Saints expected to win comfortably again.
Huddersfield Giants to win at Hull FC – 6/5 at Coral
After a disappointing debut campaign for head coach Ian Watson in 2021, things are beginning to stir for Huddersfield this year. His men have won four of their opening five games and have enough quality to turn over Hull FC on their own patch.
The Giants can go to Humberside and edge this one to maintain their impressive early-season form.
