Hull KR might have finished top of the league in the regular season, but we just can't look beyond Wigan as the form team and a team who just know how to get the job done on the big occasion.

Not only have they won the last two Grand Finals - they of course beat Hull KR in a tense game last year - but they have won their last six games to find themselves at Old Trafford and full of confidence, playing some of their best stuff of the campaign.

These games tend to be pretty tight so we're anticipating another close encounter, but the experience of Wigan will show on the big stage and their nerves should settle quickly, and help them establish a lead that we don't expect them to give up.

Tip 2: Under 24.5 Points, Less than 4.5 Tries

Under 24.5 Points, Less than 4.5 Tries

The last two Grand Finals - both won by Wigan - have been pretty turgid affairs, and they tend to be on this sort of stage.

Of the last seven Grand Finals, there has only been more than 24.5 points on two occasions while Wigan haven't scored more than 12 points in a final since 2013.

So we're expecting them to make this close and dogged, just like when the two sides met in August with Hull KR running out 10-6 winners.

If we get another low-scorer, there will be a reliance on points from kicks as well as the odd try, so you can find decent value in the under markets online.

Tip 3: Wigan to win by 1-5, Bevan French MOTM

French has the unique achievement of winning the Man of the Match in the 2024 Grand Final, the Challenge Cup final, and the World Club Challenge final - so what's one more?

He'll have a big part to play once again if Wigan are to win, and we expect them to by a narrow margin and if that happens, we're onto a winner.

The last two Grand Finals have ended 10-2 and 9-2, and with Hull KR a better side this time than last year, the gap between the teams should be even closer.
