Soldado To Take His Chance
Soldado To Score First
Football legend Matt Le Tissier has betting advice for Dnipro v Tottenham in the Europa League tonight, 18:00 kick-off ITV4.
Spurs boss Tim Sherwood is clearly prioritising the club’s quest for Champions League football over their Europa League campaign having left out a number of key players for the trip to Ukraine. His predecessor Andre Villas-Boas held this competition in high regard and ultimately payed the price when Tottenham’s Premier League form suffered and the Lillywhites meet a familiar face in former Spurs boss Juande Ramos.
Ramos is also known to take the Europa League seriously having won back-to-back titles with Sevilla, but his Dnipro side have not played a competitive fixture since December and their lack of match fitness could show in this first leg encounter.
Matt Le Tissier Tips: “Dnipro are a decent side and Ramos is a good tactician, but Spurs are on a roll at the moment and look worthy of including in your Europa League Accas at 21/10 with Boylesports and Betvictor.
Roberto Soldado has the best goals per minutes played average in this season’s competition and has another chance to prove his worth with Adebayor left out. He looks a decent shout to score first at best odds 13/2 with Bet365 with the same firm quoting 9/4 about the Spaniard to score anytime.”
Emmanuel Adebayor, Aaron Lennon, Kyle Walker, Mousa Dembele, Younes Kaboul and Hugo Lloris are not in the squad to face Dnipro along with Sandro, Erik Lamela, Vlad Chiriches and Jermain Defoe who are also out with injury.
