Stoke To Cause Trouble For Man City
TV football pundit Matt Le Tissier tips Stoke to give Manchester City more trouble in today’s FA Cup Fourth Round match at the Britannia Stadium.
Stoke have always made it tough for City on their visits to the Potteries and Roberto Mancini’s side can expect another rigorous examination in Saturday’s FA Cup tie. Tony Pulis has guided Stoke to the quarter finals in each of the last three seasons and would love to go one better than two seasons ago when beaten by City in the final.
Matt Le Tissier tips: “It’s hard to think of a team that have caused City more problems on a regular basis than Stoke, especially at the Britannia. They haven’t won any of their last six trips there stretching back to 1999 and if Pulis plays a full-strength side they will be hard to break down again. The 23/20 with bet365 on the Stoke-Draw double chance looks worth a play.”
The last five meetings at the Britannia have ended in a draw and that includes the FA Cup fifth round replay in 2010 which Stoke eventually won 3-1 in extra time. Mancini will remember the FA Cup as his first trophy in charge of City but his priorities lie elsewhere these days with the club focused on winning the league.
