Three Lions Can Overcome Injury Hit Germany
Matt Le Tissier has a football tip for the international match between England and Germany at Wembley on November 19th.
Things didn’t quite go to plan for England against Chile on Friday and Roy Hodgson will be looking for a better performance from his players against Germany on Tuesday night. The head coach will have Daniel Sturridge available for selection and the Liverpool striker will be hoping to replace Jay Rodriguez as Wayne Rooney’s strike partner while Kyle Walker is also in contention to come in at right-back after recovering from a muscle problem.
Germany will be without the services of Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil and Bayern Munich’s Philipp Lahm and Manuel Neuer meaning Joachim Low will have to reshuffle the pack. Even with players missing, Germany are one of the leading European teams heading to Brazil next year and a win for England on Tuesday would be a great achievement ahead of the World Cup finals.
Matt Le Tissier Tips: “I think we’ll see a stronger starting eleven from England and Germany have a few key players out, so backing the home win at 21/10 with 888Sport looks the way to go. If you’re not that brave, the same firm have best odds of 5/8 on England-Draw in the double chance market and their 11/2 on Frank Lampard to score anytime may tempt a few.”
Frank Lampard scored against Die Mannschaft in 2007 and famously had a goal incorrectly ruled out when the sides met in the 2010 South Africa World Cup, so may have a point to prove against Germany on Tuesday.
