UEFA Nations League: Acca Betting Tips

After a lot of work and patience, international football finally returns this week.

The UEFA Nations League, which proved such a success in its first edition, gets back underway with some very interesting fixtures on Thursday in particular.

We’ve taken a look at three of those matches to make our three-fold Nations League betting accumulator.

UEFA Nations League Acca Betting Tips:

Bulgaria vs Republic of Ireland – Ireland to Win (13/10)

Ireland were one of the teams saved from relegation thanks to UEFA’s decision to change the format of the Nations League group stage.

Stephen Kenny, who replaced Mick McCarthy after Euro 2020 was postponed, will use the reprive as motivation for his players to go and prove that they belong at this level.

The bookies make Ireland the favourites to start their Nations League campaign with a win when they take on Bulgaria and we think they’ll be able to do exactly that to kick our acca off.

Finland vs Wales – Wales to Win (13/10)

Wales fared better than Ireland in Nations League B during the first iteration of the tournament, finishing in the middle of the pack.

That put them in Pot 1 of the draw which gives Wales’ chances of improving on their showing last time out which is the gauntlet laid down by Ryan Giggs.

Like Ireland, Wales begin with a winnable away game.

Picking up three points at Finland will do Wales’ chances of winning promotion to League A the world of good.

They’re fired up and up for the challenge so we’re adding Wales to win to our acca.

Germany vs Spain – Over 2.5 Goals (10/11)

Germany are another side who were spared the ignominy of relegation from the first Nations League.

Buoyed by Bayern Munich’s Champions League success, German football feels as though it is in a very different place than it was when die Mannschaft threw away a two-goal lead against the Netherlands.

Germany are only narrow favourites against an incredibly dangerous Spain team though.

This is the pick of the first round of fixtures and in a match that could go either way we like the look of a bet on over 2.5 goals at 10/11.
