United To Take Step Closer To Champions League Objective
Premier League legend Matt Le Tissier tips Manchester United to take command of Champions League Group A when playing Sociedad at the Anoeta Stadium on Tuesday.
Manchester United lead Group A with seven points at the half way stage and a win in Spain would put David Moyes team in a commanding position to qualify for the next phase. Moyes looks to have steadied the ship after a choppy start and United go into the match looking for a fifth consecutive win in all competitions.
Matt Le Tissier tips: “Manchester United scraped the win against Sociedad at Old Trafford a fortnight ago but are beginning to look the force they were last season with 10 goals in three games since.
David Moyes first objective of the season is to qualify for the Champions League knock out stages and his team can take a step towards that goal with a win at Sociedad, 6/4 with William Hill.”
Sociedad are propping up the group and have yet to earn a point in their three Champions League group games. Coach Jagoba Arrasate believes his side can give United a scare after finding some form in Spain after the 1-0 defeat in Manchester two weeks ago. Sociedad recovered from an eight game winless run that began in September with a win at Valencia prior to the Old Trafford game and have won their last two home games, 3-0 (v Almeria) and 5-0 (v Osasuna).
