102/1 Football Longshot Acca - Saturday 13th August

Capps is back with another big one this weekend

Can you smell that?

Smells like a longshot to me and our Saturday special will hopefully have that winning scent at odds of 102/1 with Paddy Power.

  • Arsenal to beat Leicester and BTTS
  • Stoke to beat Huddersfield
  • Reading or Draw (Double Chance) v Rotherham
  • Portsmouth to beat Cheltenham to nil
  • Derby to beat Barnsley

Arsenal to beat Leicester and BTTS

Arsenal looked impressive in their win over Palace last week and come up against a Leicester side that haven’t kept a clean sheet in 26 away games in the Premier League.

The Foxes have their weapons, though, and I fancy them to bag a goal, but having lost four of their last five meetings with the Gunners, I think they’ll be edged out again at the Emirates.

Stoke to beat Huddersfield

Huddersfield look to be there for the taking after losing all three of their league and cup games this season.

And they won’t relish facing a Stoke side they’ve failed to beat since 1998. The visitors have some decent firepower up front and will fancy themselves to win this one.

Reading or Draw (Double Chance) v Rotherham

The Royals got off the mark with a win over Cardiff last time out while the Millers are waiting for their first win of the season after drawing their opener with Swansea.

But the visitors have had the upper hand in recent meetings, going unbeaten in their last eight clashes, so I like the look of them to come away from South Yorkshire with at least a point.

Portsmouth to beat Cheltenham to nil

It hasn’t been a great start to the league campaign for Pompey, but they do come into this on the back of an excellent win at Cardiff in the League Cup in midweek.

Cheltenham, meanwhile, were hammered 7-0 by Exeter on the same night and haven’t scored in their opening two League One games this season,

Derby to beat Barnsley

Both Derby and Barnsley have a win and loss apiece after two League One game weeks, but home advantage should be crucial for a Rams side that don’t get beat all that often at Pride Park.

The Tykes are terrible travellers too, while they’ve won on only one of their last nine visits to Derby, including a 2-0 defeat in the Championship less than six months ago.
