Tizz Talks: 11/1, 17/2 & 12/1 Premier League Betting Tips

Saturday’s Premier League predictions

The Premier League is drawing to a close and this weekend could provide some us with some more twists and tails. European places are still up for grabs, there are two relegation places still to be decided and mathematically top spot is still not wrapped up. In all there are six games to look forward to on Saturday and I have picked out two bet builders and a treble.

Tottenham vs Brentford bet builder pays 11/1 with Paddy Power

Tottenham and Brentford get the weekend’s Premier League action underway in the early game and it’s a contest that on paper is a very difficult one to call. Ivan Toney begins the first game of his eight month suspension for breaching the FA’s betting rules and that will be a blow to the visitors hopes of a win. Thankfully for Brentford their hopes of European football are all but done anyway and a win here would likely be a consolation three points. As for the hosts they enter the game in some poor form with just one win from their last six Premier League games. Tottenham have scored in all of their last ten league games, and also their last eight home games. Given that stat I will be backing their leading marksman Harry Kane to score during the match who has bagged a remarkable 27 goals this campaign. Looking at consistency in other aspects of the game Spurs defender Cristian Romero is pretty reliable for a card averaging a card every 218 minutes. With Brentford missing Ivan Toney they will be relying on goals from other players and Bryan Mbuemo looks to be their most likely source with seven goals this season.

Bet:

  • Harry Kane to score anytime
  • Bryan Mbuemo to have 1+ shots on target
  • Cristian Romero to be shown a card

Match Stats

  • Spurs have kept a clean sheet in all of their last three home games against Brentford.
  • There have been at least three goals in six of Tottenham’s last seven Premier League games.
  • Spurs have won all of their last three games against The Bees.
  • Only two of Brentford’s last ten away games have ended with both teams on the scoresheet.
  • Nine of Tottenham’s last ten Premier League games have ended with both teams scoring.

Team News

Tottenham will be without Rodrigo Bentancur, Ryan Sessegnon and Hugo Lloris who are all injured. There are also doubts over the fitness of Japhet Tanganga and Eric Dier. As for the visitors they are missing Keane-Lewis Potter, Pontus Jannson, Christian Norgaard, Thomas Strakosga and Ivan Toney.

Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal bet builder 17/2 with Paddy Power

A game that could have stood for so much more, in theory there is still reason for Arsenal to fight, but in reality this is now a case of putting on a brave face for the rest of the season. As for the hosts it’s all on the line as they look to stay out of the relegation zone. Three points separate Forest from the drop but they have two difficult games to end their campaign with Crystal Palace away following this, who are in fine form. The Gunners thumped Steve Cooper’s side in the reverse fixture winning 5-0 and the gulf in class was evident. I am expecting some Forest cards here as they do all they can to keep Arsenal away from their area in desperate need for some points.

Bet:

  • Gabriel Jesus to commit 2+ fouls
  • Brennan Johnson 1+ shots on target
  • Arsenal to win
  • Forest to receive the most cards

  • There have been at least three goals in Forest’s last five Premier League games.
  • Forest have conceded at least twice in seven of their last eight league games.
  • Arsenal won the reverse fixture 5-0.

Team News

Forest have a lengthy list of injuries, Neco Williams, Chris Wood, Giulian Biancone, Omar Richards, Dean Henderson, Scott McKenna, Jack Colback and Emmanuel Dennis will miss out through injury. Gustavo Scarpa and Jonjo Shelvey are unlikely to feature.

Arsenal will be without Gabriel Martinelli, William Saliba, Mohamed Elneny, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Oleksandr Zinchenko through injury.

3pm treble with Paddy Power pays 12/1 with William Hill

  • Liverpool to beat Aston Villa
  • Man Utd to beat Bournemouth & BTTS
  • Draw in Fulham vs Crystal Palace

Liverpool to beat Aston Villa 4/9

The Reds will look to make it eight wins in a row this weekend as they face Unai Emery’s Aston Villa. This form has seen Jurgen Klopp’s side come from absolutely nowhere to play themselves back into Champions League contention. A win here is the only possible outcome if Liverpool are to reach the top four with Newcastle and Manchester United highly likely to wrap up the points they need if Liverpool drop points. As for The Villains they are also in desperate need of a win to keep their European ambitions alive. Villa currently sit in 8th place, level on points with Spurs with two games remaining, but do have two much harder games on paper against Liverpool and Brighton. I will be siding with a home win here given Liverpool’s impressive form at Anfield all season.

Manchester United win and both teams to score (vs Bournemouth) 7/4

A win is the only thing on the agenda for The Red Devils on Saturday as they look to fend off Liverpool’s last revival in the top-four race. I expect that Ten-Hag’s men will get the win in front of the Old Trafford faithful but may have to survive some scares along the way. The Cherries have won six of their last 11 games in the division so there is good reason to believe that they could find the net here, especially at home where they have scored in seven of their last nine games.

Fulham vs Crystal Palace Draw 23/10

A 2nd London derby this weekend in the Premier League sees Marco Silva’s Fulham host Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace. A very tough game to call this one with both sides having taken six points from their last four games. I will be siding with a draw here as I expect both sides may cancel each other out. Fulham have picked up in recent weeks winning their last two games, but I must also give huge credit to Roy Hodgson who has got his Palace side to add substance to their attractive style of play.
