NFL: 11/1 Touchdown Scorer Treble - 9pm Sunday

We’ve got just four late games in the NFL on Sunday, kicking off at 9pm and 9:25pm, but in those, I’ve managed to find three touchdown scorers which combine for an 11/1 anytime touchdown scorer treble.

Mike Williams - Chargers (v Jaguars)

After an unusually quiet week one, Mike Williams put 113 yards and a touchdown on the board last weekend against the Chiefs. There is talk that Keenan Allen may be back for the Chargers this weekend, but even if he does, I still like Williams to go well here.

At home, and looking to bounce back after defeat last week, the Chargers could well rack up a score here against the Jags, and based on the showing last weekend, Mike Williams is going to be a part of it.

We kick the treble off with Williams scoring anytime against the Jags.

Aaron Jones - Packers (@ Buccs)

After a disappointing week one, the Green Bay Packers bounced back last weekend against the Chicago Bears, and while they are not right at their best, it’s a sign that things are moving in the right direction.

After a bad first week, quarterback Aaron Rodgers went back to basics and those he trusts, Aaron Jones is one of them.

He had 132 yards on the ground last week, plus a further 28 in the air, and scored two touchdowns. It seems obvious he’s going to be heavily involved again here, and I like Jones to turn that into another touchdown score at some point in the game.

DK Metcalf - Seahawks (v Falcons)

I’m banking on the Seattle Seahawks seeing what I’ve seen so far this season, for our final touchdown scorer. DK Metcalf was excellent with Russell Wilson, but has been a shadow of that so far, playing with Geno Smith. The Seahawks simply have to get the ball to Metcalf, if they want any success this year, let’s hope that starts in week three.

He’s had 30+ yards in both games up to now, solid, but nowhere near the kind of level we have come to expect from Metcalf.

The Seahawks will see this as a winnable game, which they probably won’t say too many times this season, so they have to make sure the ball is in Metcalf’s hands as much as they possibly can. If they do, he can deliver, and rounds off our touchdown scorer treble.
