Thomas Tuchel’s men have been rampant of late, racking up 12 goals in their past two Bundesliga outings, with Harry Kane walking off with the matchball again after Bayern’s 4-0 thrashing of Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker last weekend.

Not only that, but Bayern are just one of four sides with a perfect 100% winning record from their first three European games this term.

Galatasaray, meanwhile, still harbour hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages, but they will need to improve on their previous showing against the German powerhouse where they slumped to a 3-1 defeat.

Beneath Bayern, it could be a foot race between Galatasaray and Manchester United to seal second spot, and a result is imperative for the Turkish league leaders.

To stir up excitement for this game, I have provided a pre-match preview along with a couple of customary value tips to consider.

Bayern Munich to cruise through

Bayern are on the precipice of qualifying for the knockout stages for the 16th straight season, and given their pedigree in the Champions League, perhaps this could be their year again.

They have been tearing things up this season, and while Copenhagen and United made a good fist of things in the first couple of matches, Bayern were able to flick a switch and they proved too strong in the end.

Galatasaray were rather flat in the previous encounter despite the infernal noise of playing in Istanbul, and Bayern produced a professional display amid the chaos.

Anyway, there is a boost for Bayern as Joshua Kimmich should be restored to the fold after missing the win over Dortmund through suspension, and Bayern’s injury list has lightened to the relief of Tuchel.

Galatasaray, meanwhile, will be without Tanguy Ndombele for the trip to Munich as will goalkeeper Fernando Muslera (elbow), and it’s hard to see how the visitors will engineer many opportunities.

Bayern have been frugal at the back of late, keeping clean sheets in both of their last league matches.

To kick things off, I think the short price of Bayern to win to nil could be worth jumping on at 7/5 with Paddy Power.

Our First Prediction

Kingsley Coman to lay foundations for Bayern

Bayern can hurt teams in many ways, and it could well be a long evening for Galatasaray.

It may seem rather strange to have overlooked Kane from my tips, given he has plundered 17 goals in 14 games in all competitions for Bayern.

But then again, there is little value in Kane to score, and he could well shatter several records this term.

I have therefore looked elsewhere. Kingsley Coman was on target when Bayern swept aside Galatasaray a fortnight ago, which heralded his 62nd career goal for Bayern in all competitions. Intriguingly, Bayern are invincible when he scores, winning 53 and drawing just three of the 56 games he has netted in.

To wrap things up, I have gone with Coman to open the deadlock which has been advertised at a juicy price of 15/2 with bet365.
